Keynote at The Things Conference 2021 about Digital Twins: IoT from Proof-of-Concept to Roll-out

Learn more about Digital Twins for the IoT rollout in our CPO Dennis Kolberg's keynote at The Things Conference.

Things Network's The Things Conference is the largest LoRaWAN event in the world. Over 4,000 visitors attended the conference in January 2021, which was held digitally due to the CoVid19 pandemic. DIGIMONDO has been one of the partners of the Things Conference for several years. This year, Chief Product Officer Dennis Kolberg gave a keynote presentation on how the new Digital Twin feature in niota takes LPWAN technology further.

Dr.-Ing. Dennis Kolberg is part of the management team at DIGIMONDO and responsible for the development of DIGIMONDO software solutions. He holds a doctoral degree in the field of IoT and production digitization from one of the founding sites of Industry 4.0, the DFKI in Kaiserslautern. With several years of experience in the industrial IoT field, he is in charge of IoT software from the initial idea and research, through business evaluation and software development, to market launch and further development. As an expert in automation technology, he sees the Digital Twin as the next stage leading from proof-of-concept to rollout.

What is a Digital Twin? How can a virtual image gain more from a LoRaWAN infrastructure and IoT data? How does the Digital Twin help with IoT rollouts? These questions will be answered by Dr.-Ing. Dennis Kolberg from DIGIMONDO. He presents the first independent Digital Twin based on LoRaWAN and shows how versatile this new development of the Internet of Things can be used.
