IoT use cases have proven to be one of the most important drivers for digitizing a wide range of areas in recent years. As a result, increasingly more extensive projects realized. This results in new requirements to the administration heterogeneous IoT technologies and Mass device management before, during, and after the rollout.

Our agnostic device management is the key technology for sustainably meeting the requirements in this phase of professionalization. It enables the integration of a wide variety of IoT technologies and provides all functionalities for individual rollout

Customer challenge

  • Companies need a simple and efficient way to roll out, manage and monitor projects with a variety of sensors.
  • Extensive projects and organizational structures require granular authorization systems and a high degree of adaptability of device management
  • IoT data from different technologies must be individually intersected and passed on to various areas of the IT landscape

Digimondo solution

  • Greatly simplified sensor creation process and clever options for mass editing.
  • Individually adaptable monitoring based on freely configurable criteria.
  • The virtual device decouples the physical sensor so that it can be replaced without loss of historical data.
  • In addition to the option of using various sub-accounts, object hierarchies can also be used for access control.
  • Integration flows bring data to any other corner of the existing IT landscape in exactly the desired format.

Added value and customer benefits

  • Rollouts and permanent large IoT projects can be implemented with little effort.
  • Clean separation between simple use case implementation and technically flexible device management
  • Generated data can be reused in other systems without project effort

All benefits at a glance:

Future-oriented & technology-independent

Devices can be managed centrally independently of LoRaWAN network servers used (e.g. Firefly, TTN/TTI or Loriot). Other relevant protocols (e.g. MQTT or Http) are also supported and will be expanded to include new technologies such as 450 Mhz in the future.

Easy usability & authorization structures

Clear structures and an object-specific authorization concept help create and manage sensors. Instead of hours of troubleshooting, our system actively helps you find errors and also makes it possible to process large quantities of sensors at the same time.

Customizable monitoring

Definable alarms can be created for each sensor type according to free criteria and adjusted for each sensor as required. Alerts from devices can be temporarily ignored until the error is resolved.

Make generated data usable

The generated data can be passed on to other systems via all conceivable technical channels, such as HTTP, MQTT, Kafka or Websocket. In addition, there are almost limitless options for filtering them in advance or bringing them into the desired data structure.
