Cloud-Infrastructure-Engineer/DevOps (m/w/d)

Your tasks

As part of DIGIMONDO's R&D team, you will develop the next generation of IoT technologies. We are revolutionising the way billions of objects connect, come to life and interact with users, systems and each other.Your tasks

  • Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures on AWS, including networking, infrastructure automation, and application deployment.
  • Act as a technical advisor: support and optimise DIGIMONDO’s internal cloud infrastructure while advising customers on best practices for their in-house environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex challenges across infrastructure, networking, and deployments.
  • Automate infrastructure and software delivery using AWS CDK, Helm, and Docker on Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Collaborate with software engineering and product teams to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Implement and maintain security, networking, and monitoring best practices for production systems.

Your profile

  • Deep, hands-on experience with Linux, AWS, and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Strong understanding of networking, containerisation, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with AWS CDK and familiarity with key AWS services such as IAM, EC2, and CloudWatch.
  • Experience provisioning and managing infrastructure with CDK and Helm.
  • Solid knowledge of databases such as SQL and InfluxDB.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and operate cloud-native software systems.

Beneficial

  • Programming experience with JavaScript, Elixir, or similar languages.
  • Experience with Elastic (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch), Grafana, or Matomo.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and IT security best practices (IAM, encryption, certificate and key management).
  • Experience working directly with customers or external partners.
