The implementation of §14a EnWG is currently one of the most urgent operational tasks for network operators: Controllable consumer devices must be managed in a network-oriented manner. In practice, the biggest hurdle is not the will to digitize, but the question of how data from heterogeneous sources can be used efficiently and economically without creating new dependencies or data silos.
